NATIONAL Security Minister Edmund Dillon must make good on his assurance that the “perpetrators will be made to feel the full brunt of the law” in Monday’s killing of schoolboy Joshua Andrews, the Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (DOMA) has said.
In a statement yesterday, DOMA president Gregory Aboud described the teen’s murder as “unspeakably savage”. Andrews, a 15-year-old pupil of Morvant/Laventille Secondary School, was killed in a gun attack on the taxi in which he was making his way home after the first day of the new school term. The driver of the taxi, Devon Hernandez, was also killed.
Both victims were burnt when the vehicle caught fire after the attack at Trou Macaque Road, Laventille.
