We in T&T have mixed-up priorities*

The Ministry of Education has apparently decided to suspend the serving of beverages at their meetings. That has actually become a talking point on my social media feed, mostly by people openly opposed to the Government.
That’s comical because I can state with no fear of contradiction that cost-cutting measures have been taking place since during the time of the PP.
I think State workers are perfectly aware that there are bigger issues than giving beverages to people who can afford to dine daily in Starbucks (because, to be honest, most of these meetings involve executives of some sort) who won’t (mostly) spend more than four hours in a meeting and who probably ate before the meeting anyway.
