AN interim injunction has been granted in the Rheann Chung/Dexter St Louis vs Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association (TTTTA) high court matter.

“It is ordered that an Interim Injunction is granted restraining the defendant, whether by itself its servants or agents, from taking any further steps to implement the decision made by the Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association on or around 14 November 2017 pertaining to the selection of players (Aaron Wilson, Yuvraaj Dookram and Arun Roopnarine) for the 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held in April 2018 in Queensland Australia until further order.”

St Louis and Chung, through their attorneys Matthew GW Gayle, Sheriza N Khan and sports lawyer Dr Emir Crowne, applied to the court for injunctive relief, following their omission from the T&T team for the April 4-15 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. Wilson and Dookram were selected for the Games, with Roopnarine named as the reserve.
