Keyon Joseph leads army to 4th win*

DEFENCE FORCE marched to within one win of booking their place in the finals while Police broke a two-game losing streak when competition resumed in the Big Six play-offs in the Barry Stewart Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Jean Pierre Complex, Port of Spain, on Thursday evening.
The still-unbeaten army/coast guard combination turned away the in-form Maloney Pacers 87-67 for their fourth win while Police earned an 81-76 victory over Petro Jazz, reviving their chances of making it to the play-off for the other spot in the finals.
The Pacers/Defence Force clash developed into a shooting competition between the army’s Keyon Joseph and Pacers’ Ahkeem Boyd. However, Defence Force had the better supporting cast on the night and led at every stage of the contest—25-14, 36-33 (at half-time) and 58-47.
