CANAAN BON Accord Enforcers made an impressive start to their campaign in the 2017 bmobile T10 Community Cricket League when they defeated Waterloo All Stars by 35 runs during action on Day Three at the Pierre Road Recreation Ground, Charlieville, yesterday.
Sent in, Enforcers, representing Tobago, went on to post 61 for the loss of three wickets in a match reduced to five overs-a-side, persistent morning showers having caused a lengthy delay to the proceedings. In reply, All Stars could only muster 26 for the loss of six wickets.
Enforcers endured a difficult start with Leron Lezama bowled by Raymond Fletcher off the second delivery of the innings but their captain Marcus Daniel joined Iraq Thomas out in the middle, and they launched a blistering attack on the bowling, scoring 59 off 26 balls.
