INCARCERATED for murdering her niece, Carlene Andrews, mother of slain teen Joshua Andrews, said goodbye to her son yesterday during a private ceremony at Simpson's Funeral Home, Eastern Main Road, Laventille.

One of Joshua's brothers, Marcus, who is also in prison on the same murder charge as his mother, also said his goodbyes.

Last week Monday, 15-year-old Andrews and Devon Fernandez, driver of a PH taxi, were ambushed and shot dead at Trou Macaque, Laventille, where the driver was taking Andrews and four other school boys home.

Andrews and Fernandez were killed almost instantly, following which the car caught fire after gunmen struck the gas tank of the Mazda 323.
