Dole Chadee's son shot in Piparo


Sharma Boodram, son of convicted killer Nankissoon Boodram (Dole Chadee) was shot in the abdomen on Friday.

Boodram, an attorney, was at Pascal Road, Piparo, when he was wounded at around 3a.m.

He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

In 2015, Boodram was granted $200,000 bail after his arrest for possession of a gun.

Boodram, of Piparo, was jointly charged with Venezuelan Ramon Small de Jesus with the possession of a gun and 14 rounds of .40 ammunition, at Guaracara Road, Tabaquite.

He was charged separately with the possession of one gramme of marijuana, at Atkin Street, Piparo.

Boodram's father was hanged along with eight other men back in 1999.
