T&T in need of healing*

Trinidad and Tobago is in need of healing and the Opposition is willing to collaborate with the Government to wage a war on crime, says Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
The former prime minister expressed her disappointment yesterday that there has been no reply or even an acknowledgment of her letter she sent to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley last week Thursday requesting a meeting to discuss a bi-partisan legislative approach to the fight against crime and the criminal element, starting with two pieces of legislation—the Anti-Gang Bill and the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Persad-Bissessar noted the Opposition collaborated with the Government and co-signed the nomination papers for President-elect Paula Mae Weekes and that united front should continue.
