THE committee established to investigate allegations of misbehaviour in public office by Chief Justice Ivor Archie is expected to submit its report within ten days.
Speaking with the Sunday Express yesterday afternoon, president of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT) Douglas Mendes SC said: “The report should be finished within ten days. We have written the Chief Justice and anticipate his response within a week. From there, we would send the report to the Queen's Counsel for advice.”
Several people have been interviewed by the committee which has also collected documentation and correspondence pertaining to the allegations.
