Why do people always have to make a big stink, risk arrest, create a scene, and block roads with burning tyres and debris to get those in charge to take them seriously?
The ongoing experience of a close friend of mine at the hands of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) prompted that question.
About three months ago she realised something was wrong with the water supply to her Belmont home. At first she thought it was a common problem in the area, but soon she realised the problem was hers since her neighbours had a fairly decent supply.
She had the plumbing checked for leaks, etc.
