Patrice Slays at Prestige 8: 'Road March Race Not Over'*


Soca songstress Patrice Roberts says the race for the 2018 Road March title is still wide open.

The “Sweet Fuh Days” singer said sentiments that the coveted title would be decided between Machel Montano and SuperBlue's (Austin Lyons) historic collaboration “Soca Kingdom” and Iwer George's runaway hit “Savannah” are greatly exaggerated.

To discount her could prove costly to all comers, she said on Sunday evening during a stellar performance at Prestige 8 at Presentation College, San Fernando.

“All who believe in woman power put your hands up. If you believe a woman can win the road march again let me hear you scream,” Roberts said, adopting a super hero pose in a gold bodysuit and inspiring loud cheers from the largely female audience in the process.
