Cricket West Indies president Dave Cameron has apparently passed judgement on the West Indies careers of Sunil Narine, Darren Bravo and Kieron Pollard. But Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board president Azim Bassarath says he’s out of order.
In speaking about the squad announced last Thursday for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe, CWI chairman of selectors Courtney Browne indicated that the trio and all-rounder Andre Russell had turned down invitations to be part of the squad.
“Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Darren Bravo and Andre Russell however, indicated that they were unavailable to help us qualify as their priority was playing in the Pakistan Super League.”
