THE Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has teamed up with the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment to bring relief to residents of Daniel Trace in Carnbee.

The replacement of the aged and leaking water main will now complement planned road excavation and resurfacing works that were recently scheduled by the division. Via release, the division stated that this collaboration will ensure more efficient use of public resources, and reduce any inconvenience to residents and motorists in the area.

Works to replace the main were scheduled to begin on January 24. The project will be completed within the next month. Meanwhile, the division will continue road excavation and subsurface preparation in the area. The resurfacing works should be completed by February 26.
