SUNIL NARINE grabbed five wickets and Evin Lewis struck an unbeaten 70 as the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force bounced back from their opening round defeat against Barbados Pride with a convincing nine-wicket victory over Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners at Kensington Oval in Barbados yesterday.

The Red Force needed to restore their reputation following a humiliating 171-run loss to the defending champions Barbados Pride on Tuesday night and their big guns delivered the goods, with Narine grabbing five wickets for ten runs from 7.4 overs to dismiss the Marooners for 101 in just 25.4 overs.

Thanks to Lewis, who struck 70 not out off 41 balls with four sixes and nine fours, the Red Force needed just about an hour to secure victory as they raced to 102 for one off 11.2 overs.
