Fevrier bemoans 'soft' goal, opening loss to Haitian club

“It was a really disappointing evening for us, from the point of view that we had so many chances and didn't end with a win …or even a draw.”

W Connection coach Stuart Charles-Fevrier was not at all happy with his side's finishing in their 1-0 defeat against Haiti's Real Hope in their opening 2018 CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship match at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Wednesday. And he will be hoping for much better accuracy tonight when the “Savonetta Boys” seek to rebound against Jamaican club Arnett Gardens from 8pm.

On Wednesday, Jeudy Thompson, a former Haiti Under-20 midfielder, snatched what turned out to be the winner after just two minutes against an under-strength Connection side.
