With PEP what you see is what you get*

I wish to respond to Fitzgerald Hinds’ unnecessary and erroneous attacks against me in my capacity as interim political leader of the Progressive Empowerment Party (“PM not the crime culprit, Mr Maraj”, Express, January 31).
Mr Hinds is suffering from memory loss when he sneeringly refers to political meeting crowd sizes.
I was there in Bournes Road, St James, when the PNM under Keith Rowley could not get 50 seats filled, but it is understandable as Mr Hinds was not there.
I was also at Piggott’s corner in Belmont when 13 people turned up to hear the then veteran of 30 years in the Parliament, opposition leader Keith Rowley, but Mr Hinds would not know because again, he wasn’t there.
