We can’t be doing it right with those results*

Paula Mae Weekes urges united effort by citizens and politicians against crime:

“WE couldn't be doing it the right way and have the results that we have.”

So determined president-elect Paula Mae Weekes last Friday as she revealed her thoughts on Trini­dad and Tobago's runaway crime problem and efforts by the Government to take the country back to a place of relative safety.

In an interview with the Sunday Express, it was put to Weekes that citizens, by and large, do not feel safe or prosperous at this time.
