Red Force cruise past Hampshire*

SPINNERS Sunil Narine, Khary Pierre and Imran Khan combined to bowl Trinidad and Tobago Red Force to their second successive win in the Regional Super50 tournament, a comfortable 75-run victory over English County side Hampshire in yesterday’s Group A match at the Windwards Ground in Barbados.
Off-spinner Narine, who picked up five wickets in the Red Force’s nine-wicket win over Combined Campuses and Colleges on Thursday, returned with three wickets for 22 runs from ten overs, while left-arm spinner Pierre grabbed three for 43 and leg-spinner Khan finished with two or 48 as Hampshire were dismissed for 208, replying to T&T’s total of 283 for eight which was set up by half-centuries from Evin Lewis and Jason Mohammed.
