A MOTORCYCLIST was killed when he crashed into a utility pole in Moruga yesterday.
Kurt Ramjohn, 35, was riding his bike along Moruga Road, near Sixth Company, when he skidded off the roadway at around 12.30 p.m.
Police said Ramjohn slammed into an electricity pole.
He was thrown from the motorbike.
Ramjohn, of Indian Walk, was taken to the Princes Town District Hospital in an ambulance. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Relatives said Ramjohn was an experienced rider and are uncertain what caused him to lose control of his bike.
