Paul upstages Cornwall in Super50 clash

Rahkeem Cornwall struck another stunning hundred but teenaged seamer Keemo Paul snatched his maiden regional One-Day five-wicket haul, to engineer a collapse and lift Guyana Jaguars to a dramatic 18-run win over Leeward Islands Hurricanes late Sunday.

Chasing 299 for victory in their Group B match of the Regional Super50 Festival, the Hurricanes were cruising at 248 for four in the 39th over, with Cornwall ripping into the Jaguars bowling en route to a brilliant 119.

But with the Jaguars virtually out of answers, the 19-year-old Paul stepped up, first removing Terrance Warde for 42 and then accounting for Cornwall in his next over, as the hosts lost their last six wickets for 34 runs in the space of 41 deliveries.
