Trinidad and Tobago track star Kelly-Ann Baptiste sprinted to gold in the women's 60 metres final at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Bayou Bengal meet in Louisiana, USA, last Friday. The 31-year-old sprinter got to the line in 7.27 seconds—the same time she had clocked in winning her qualifying heat.
Xavier Mulugata was 11th fastest in the men's 60m dash. The LSU sprinter got home in 6.95 seconds.
