Scotiabank’s newly appointed managing director Stephen Bagnarol says nothing excites him more than knowing that the bank is helping customers achieve their “firsts”.
“We’re helping people purchase their first car, their first credit card, or buying their first home, or saving for their child’s education. It’s helping a company buy a new piece of machinery, hiring more people. That’s very exciting and emotional,” an enthusiastic Bagnarol told reporters during an interview last week, at Scotiabank’s head office in Port of Spain.
“I don’t just like what I do, I love what I do. I love that I can come here everyday and knowing that we are helping people,” he said.
On November 1, Bagnarol took over as managing director as well as senior vice president and Head of Scotiabank’s Caribbean South and East operations.
