SAGHS bids to be carbon-neutral*

January 24 saw the launch of Project Zero at St Augustine Girls’ High School (SAGHS). In a landmark venture, staff, pupils and stakeholders pledged to work with the Carbon Zero Initiative of Trinidad and Tobago (CZITT) to make the school carbon-neutral.
Amid a celebration of environmental leadership and calls to action, the pledge was signed by the school’s principal, Linda Dharrie, and Donald Baldeosingh, founder of CZITT.
President Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, SC, witnessed and endorsed the pledge, together with the Right Reverend Annabell Lalla-Ramkelawan, Moderator of Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago.
