A 23 year old motorist survived a high speed crashed on the Diego Martin highway on Thursday morning.

When police and fire officers responded to the crash, they discovered that the injured driver did not have a driver's license.

At around 5.30 a.m. officers of the Four Roads station went to the south bound lane of the highway near Jenny's Vegetable Mart.

At a bend which residents consider a “dangerous corner”, officers found the crash victim pinned in a Nissan Tida.

Fire officers extricated him and treated him for a broken leg.

The crash victim was taken to hospital and warded.
