FORMER Republic Bank teller Nikisha Winter-Roach has been arrested and charged with 31 counts of fraud.
Winter-Roach, who worked at the Glencoe Branch of Republic Bank, is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate today, charged with offences amounting to $253,500, which occurred between May 2011 and June 2017.
The woman,, of Blue Basin Garden, Diego Martin, was charged with 19 counts of larceny servant, six counts of forgery and six counts of uttering forged documents, by ASP Wayne Abbot.
The charges follow a report made by the bank to the Fraud Squad in 2017, and an investigation into the alleged theft of monies from the accounts of several customers. Winter-Roach was dismissed from the bank last year, following the launch of the investigations.
