Future of pan in safe hands*


The high standard of competition and excellent display of skills exhibited by all the schools that participated in the Schools Panorama Competition on February 5 at the Queen’s Park Savannah deserve high commendation. I left the Savannah that evening confident of the fact that the future of this instrument is in very safe hands. 
It was indeed a big moment for the young pan players from 12 primary and nine secondary schools who made it to the finals.
