Threat to Carnival still on, but minister advises*

The encouragement to citizens to participate in Carnival 2018 has come from no less a person than acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams. During a press conference yesterday to update the country on a threat to attack Carnival 2018, that was said last week to have been averted, Williams emphasised that local law enforcement is doing everything in its power to protect the country over the next two days and beyond.
