By the end of next month, the world trend toward electric cars will reach T&T. The news came out of one of several interviews, over the last two weeks, on whether government is positioning the country to end up on the wrong side of history with its compressed natural gas CNG) vehicle thrust.
Massy Group executive vice president David O’Brien, who is responsible for the group’s automotive and industrial equipment business unit, said: “We have electric vehicles which you have to plug in and recharge but we have very few of those in Trinidad. We have one here (at Massy showroom). This one we’re not selling right now, but we will be selling.”
