POLICE arrested two men in a vehicle parked outside the St Lucien Road, Diego Martin branch of KFC on Tuesday.
Both suspects were armed.
The men were held by officers of the Western Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise, in the Diego Martin district, yesterday.
The exercise, spearheaded by Supt. Peter Dominique, and supervised by Cpl Nicholas Nurse, was conducted between 5:00pm and 8:30pm, on Tuesday.
The officers were tipped off about suspects armed with guns, seen in the vicinity of the fast food outlet.
The officers sped to the area and surrounded a silver Nissan Tiida and searched the suspects, a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both of Diego Martin.
Police say they found a Glock 17 pistol, loaded with a magazine, containing 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition and one Glock 34 pistol, loaded with a magazine, containing 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
