Mccann wins 15 gold ADDY awards

Once again McCann Trinidad was the big winner at the recent Caribbean Advertising Federation ADDY awards.

Winning a total of 31 awards, McCann was the most awarded advertising agency in Trinidad and Tobago, the agency said in a statement last week.

This year the agency showed its creative strength in all its full circle advertising services: traditional media, non-traditional, event/activation and digital/interactive for clients including Angostura; RBC Royal Bank; Nestle; bpTT and TSTT.

McCann won 15 gold awards, 13 silvers and three Best Of Show awards: Best of Show Art Direction for "Newsday's Both Sides To Every Story" campaign; Best of Show Point of Sale for the bmobile/blink Divali Nagar Booth and Best Public Service Campaign for the Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

McCann won gold awards for Best Print for Angostura's Single Barrel, Blu Vodka and Forres Park Puncheon Rum. Its also took home gold for bmobile for its design of the bmobile blink Divali Nagar Booth; bmobile 3D Value print ad and the TSTT Republic Day Greetings Ad.

Gold was also won for the RBC Royal Bank "Strength at Work for You" building drape outside the McCann building.

In the fast evolving interactive/digital category, McCann triumphed with wins for the Angostura Single Barrel "Transrumation" online video and a silver for the Nestle Supligen "Halloween" Viral Video. The agency also took a silver for the hugely popular bmobile BlackBerry Facebook sensation "Tash McFash" Project Fashionista.

The ADDY awards is the world's largest creative advertising awards show. All the Caribbean gold ADDY winners will move on to compete in the Florida, Fourth District ADDY awards and then unto the national USA ADDY Competition.
