Renewable energy is coming to the forefront, as the Ministry of Energy and the British High Commission hosted a UK trade mission showcasing the latest in renewable energy technolgy.

The mission, in Trinidad last week, attracted several UK companies in the fields of solar, wind and tidal energy production, as well as experts in energy efficiency, policy, project finance and climate change mitigation.

To welcome them to the country, British High Commissioner Arthur Snell, hosted a cocktail reception at his Maraval residence last Monday.
