Regional president of energy company bpTT Norman Christie has challenged The University of the West Indies (UWI) to make transparency discussions at their two-day conference a reality.

Christie delivered remarks at The UWI’s Department of Economics and bpTT’s conference on “Creating a Culture of Transparency-Revenue Reporting” at the Hyatt Regency (Trinidad), Port of Spain, yesterday.

He added: “I would also like to put forward a challenge to The University of the West Indies, to ensure that long after this conference is over you continue to ensure that the great ideas and discussions that take place over the next  two days gets shaped into implementable strategies and action plans.”
