Leon Lue Yat appointed interim TDC CEO

Consultant Leon Lue Yat has been appointed acting chief executive of the Tourism Development Company (TDC), just over a month after the departure of former CEO Sandra Perkins.
The TDC, in a statement yesterday, said Lue Yat’s appointment took effect on Wednesday.
Lue Yat has worked in the private sector in Trinidad and Tobago and Canada and has over 25 years of experience in industrial development and the ‘promotion and facilitation of inward investment”, the TDC said.
Most recently, Lue Yat worked as a consultant providing solutions in trade and investment.
Lue Yat will act as CEO in the interim as the TDC completes the recruitment process for a CEO, which is expected to be concluded in the near future, the TDC added.
