The San Juan Business Association recently hosted its annual all-inclusive Christmas celebration, themed "A Christmas Lime", at the St Augustine Tennis Club in St Augustine.

This event attracted over 400 members of the San Juan business community, in addition to specially invited guests including Minister of Trade, Industry and Development Vasant Bharath, Health Minister Fuad Khan, St Ann's East MP Joanne Thomas and Laventille West MP Nileung Hypolite.

The event featured live entertainment by Scrunter.

Formed in 1990 immediately after the attempted coup, the San Juan Business Association has served the needs of the community for over 20 years and was instrumental in raising funds for the construction of the San Juan Police Sub Station in the Croisee and for the repair of police vehicles allocated to the area.

Since then, the mission of the SJBA has been expanded to engage in dialogue that would lead to the creation of caring citizens, providing for the reclamation of our society and a reclamation of the upstanding values.
