Defending champ All Stars in position 6

Defending Panorama champion Neal and Massy Trinidad All Stars will play in position No 6 in the large band category when the Pan Trinbago Panorama 2013 Medium and Large Conventional Steelbands Finals take place Saturday at Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain, from 7 p.m.

Winner of the semi-final round, Petrotrin Phase II Pan Groove, will play in ninth position, while runner-up in the semi-finals, Republic Bank Exodus, will appear fifth.

The first large band to appear on stage will be PCS Nitrogen Silver Stars.

First prize in the large band category is $1 million.

Following is the complete order of appearance in the large bands category:

PCS Nitrogen Silver Stars; Junior Sammy Group Skiffle; BP Renegades; RBC Redemption Sound Setters; Republic Bank Exodus; Neal and Massy Trinidad All Stars; WITCO Desperadoes; CAL Invaders; Petrotrin Phase II Pan Groove; NLCB Fonclaire.

Defending champions in the medium bands category, Petrotrin Katzenjammers, will be playing in position eight on stage.

The Panorama competition begins with the medium category and the first band on stage will be Pan Elders.

Pan Elders; Steel Xplosion; Curepe Scherzando; NLCB Buccooneers; NGC Couva Joylanders; Carib Dixieland; Valley Harps; Petrotrin Katzenjammers; Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille; Arima Angel Harps

Tickets are priced at $700 (Grand Stand Special Reserved), $450 (Grand Stand General) and $300 (North Stand) and are on sale at the ticket booth, Queen's Park Savannah; Electro Sounds, Dinsley, Tacarigua; and Atherly's, Sutton Street, San Fernando.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Panorama with the competition dedicated to famed pan inventor and tuner Bertie Marshall ORTT.
