Girls gone wild

By Kevin Baldeosingh

I removed a man from my Facebook list this week because he posted racy pics of the ex-girlfriend of ex-minister Chandresh Sharma. Not that I mind racy pics, but I don’t think Sacha Singh is 100-metre material.

I would have only unfriended the man for that transgression but, when I checked his profile to see what kind of character practises slut-shaming, I saw that he was 40, single, and UNC. And, again, I don’t mind people being single, once they’re single by choice. If, however, they’re not in a relationship because they don’t have the looks or the brains or the deodorant to attract a romantic partner, then I have to consider my social media status. But the real reason I blocked the man from my Facebook page was that most of the persons who commented favourably on his post looked like female UNC supporters. And there I draw the line.

You see, when it comes to unattractive stupid women, I am a bigot. (I’m also bigoted against men, but just for stupidity and Speedos.) I have no problem with unattractive smart women, for with them I can make conversation if not love. And I can stand a cute stupid woman for one night, or for a week if she has an open-minded girlfriend.

I’m not proud of my prejudice. But, in my defence, I’m not saying that stupid ugly women shouldn’t have the same rights as everyone else except gays. I would even support a constitutional guarantee of those rights. However, my hard-wired temperament has made me constitutionally incapable of rising to the challenge of such women, let alone coming to their defence.

In respect to Sacha Singh, therefore, I faced a quandary, since I don’t find she has the “Bollywood looks” that radio talkshow hosts Dale Enoch and Tony Lee saw and, if she’s not actually a UNC, she seems to have a UNC-equivalent IQ. Thus, when asked in a TV interview about the racy selfies she took for her boyfriend, she answered, “We all do that”. But I don’t have any revealing pics of any of my ex-girlfriends, so maybe the “we” Ms Singh referred to is just her and Anya.

She also said that everything she does is “dedicated unto God” and, as an atheist, I could not make heads or tails or other body parts of this statement. Did she mean that God told her to dedicate herself to a married father of four? Did she mean that God told her to bring down a pundit because he dedicated false gods? Or did she mean that, when she accompanied a Government minister on an official trip to Spain, she dedicated to God the taxpayers’ dollars that paid for her first-class ticket?

The answers to the first two questions are none of my business, and none of yours either. But the third question is everybody’s business, since only UNC fanatics would have no objection to funding Sharma’s sex life.

But this, of course, isn’t what those hypocritical hacks are vilifying Sacha for. Instead, they believe that, by posting her private pics on the Internet, they are proving that she didn’t get shoved by Sharma; that he doesn’t have an outside child he isn’t supporting; and that Sacha was wrong for raising her hand to a Brahmin. All of which may be true: but that cannot be proven by posting punani. Hence my contempt for people who believe that slander is a form of argument, and the reason I took that individual off my Facebook list.

Of course, I myself have been blocked on Facebook, but only by feminists who fear facts. In that regard, it is interesting how women have been making the news over the past few weeks. Sacha brought down Sharma; Glenn Ramadharsingh was brought down by a flight attendant who didn’t appreciate his fatigue; and Pennelope Beckles-Robinson is trying to bring down PNM leader Keith Rowley. What is causing this?

I only recent got the answer when one of the country’s most erudite intellectuals, using culture theory and a Teflon spatula, proved that the Mucurapo West schoolgirl brawl was caused by the annual Canboulay Riots re-enactment and, presumably, led the police to charge producer Pearl Eintou Springer for instigating violence and writing in the language of the oppressor. Similarly, by applying gender theory and a bottle-opener, it becomes clear that these displays of defiance toward high men by low women have been caused by Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

You see, when Kamla became Prime Minister, she promoted clerk Reshmi Ramnarine to security director, paid ex-journalist Sasha Mohammed $30,000 a month to lime, and hired her sister Vidwatee to shop. These actions put women on an equal status with men, causing them to cook less, horn more, and not shave their legs at all.

It is therefore Kamla who is responsible for this country’s high murder rate, corruption, and doubles with too much pepper.
