15 floats for steelbands

Designers for the proposed Steelfestt 2012 Parade of Floats featuring 15 steelbands got off to a fine start with designs that left the band members breathless.

Designers Gillian Bishop, Roger Myers, Stephen Dereck, Burt Marcellin and Geraldo Vieira Jr showed off their designs at the University of Trinidad and Tobago John Donaldson campus on Monday.

Designs of Flora and Fauna, Industrialisation, Peoples of T&T and Sports were exhibited for the Steelfestt committee and the pannists.
