25 Vying to Represent in Miss Teen Pageant

By Innis Francis

ONE girl will be chosen to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the second annual Miss Teen Universal Pageant in Barbados on September 9.

This from twenty-five teenagers from various parts of Trinidad and Tobago, who have been selected to train for the pageant in the areas of stage etiquette, personal grooming, make up, skin care and analysis, stage and runway techniques, and communication.

The local leg of the pageant will take place this weekend, July 28 and 29 at Daaga Hall, at the University of the West Indies in St Augustine.
The delegates, aged 13 to 18, are expected to share their knowledge and demonstrate winning personalities in the areas of panel interviews, introduction, talent, swimwear, evening wear and the question and answer segment.

The competition is organised by Miss Teen Beauty TT director Emmanuel Waldron and arranged by creative director Garth Inniss.
The show starts at 6.30 p.m on both days.
