Pakistan-born Elvis Elick intends to thrill locals at a concert "Perfect Sunset 2" next month.
The concert takes place at Naprima Bowl, San Fernando, on April 26.
Elick has been actively involved in singing since his arrival to Trinidad in 2010.
He has judged several local talent competitions including "Indo Muqabala" and "Madhur Awaaz". Elick was also a judge in the 2013 Chutney Soca Monarch competition.
His 2013 presentation of Perfect Sunset was described as a success. This year the concert would feature local artistes, singers and dance groups.
Elick said he was looking forward to performing his repertoire of traditional folk songs, golden oldies and his popular hits from India and Pakistan.
Elick was raised in a singing family and enjoyed pop, rock, eastern classical and acoustic music. As a singer he started his journey with his first live performance the age of seven, when he sang the cover song "Everything I do" by Bryan Adams in a fancy dress competition in Lahore Pakistan.
Elick was enrolled in semi classical vocal training and has strong basics of Eastern Classical music under teachers K Dass and Ustaad Aleem Shakir.
Elick was named "Best Singer" at Forman Christian College 2003-2005 in the national colleges and universities competition in Pakistan.
He also formed his own rock band "Zoak (Passion)" in 2003. He recorded his hit song "Aik Jaan" in 2007, followed by "Ahh Bhi Jaa", "Bachpan" and "Tujhey Yaad Kerta Hoon".
