PUPILS of Holy Name Convent recently created breath-taking sculptures, drawings and paintings for the school’s annual art exhibition, which began on March 8 and ended on March 14.
The pieces were done by pupils of Form Five, and Lower and Upper Six.
The purpose of the exhibition, according to Raina Grillet, one of the art teachers at the school, was to give those pupils an opportunity to show off their school-based assessment (SBA) work before it goes up to be marked for exams.
She added that art is an important subject and not only helps people to explore their creativity, but pushes them to do what they thought they could not. See more photos on Page 27.
