San Fernando West puts on an art exhibition

PUPILS of the San Fernando West Secondary School last week
put on an art exhibition titled "Folk Expression" on the school's compound.

Principal Seerajh Dhoray and Vice Principal Ronald Mootoo gave full support to the project spearheaded by Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) teacher Joanne Husain, Wendy James-Phillip, Peggy-Ann Benjamin, and Head of Department Yeana Kelly-Simmons.

The exhibition included the work of all students but featured the second form pupils who used acrylics and ceramics, skills learnt during the course of the school term. The display was put on last Thursday and Friday.
