Shandies fete makes waves in Central

Shandies Promotions' annual all-inclusive Carnival fete received rave reviews from patrons who had a ball at Jerry's Bar, Jerry Junction, Waterloo, Central Trinidad, on Sunday.

Promoted by husband-and-wife team of Anderson and T'Shi-Ann Maurice, the event caters to fete-lovers who enjoy a cozy ambience, with good music, good food and drinks at an affordable cost. Themed "It's A Big People Ting', the Shandies fete has become a staple carnival fare for the mature crowd.

Patrons partied from 2 pm to almost midnight to the music of First Impressions with lead singer Kirland 'Big B' Jacob and female back-up Karissa, the Bay Road Rhythm Section and DJs Spoil Child and Last Child Sounds.

Several lucky patrons walked away with valuable door prizes.
