Emerging local designers brought their year of hard work and creativity to an exciting close over the past weekend when Trinidad Lookbook presented an event titled, Style Spirit Fashion from December 7 to 9 at the Warehouse, Champs Fleurs and the Medulla Art Gallery, Fitt Street, Woodbrook. The event featured a series of workshops conducted by fashion industry experts, local and international and showcased the works of several established and emerging designers.

Among the experts facilitating the workshops were; Joi White, a New York based visual merchandiser and buyer for brands like Perry Ellis International, BCBG Max Azria, Chloe and Joe Fresh, Adam Cooper, Head of Brand Strategy & Planning at Abovegroup Ogilvy,

Patrice Grell-Yursik, a Trinidad born editor of www.afrobella com, one of the biggest beauty blogs in the world and Vashtie Kola, an American artist, director, designer and party promoter of Trinidadian descent. Vashtie has been celebrated by brands like New York Times, Vibe, Nylon Magazine and Brand Jordan.
