Body graphics and temporary tattoos are an emerging fashion trend which is becoming increasingly popular and there is no one more excited about this than body art technician Daychelle Morris.

Morris, the founder of Bellissima Balloons, has just completed a successful and hectic Carnival season. As Easter approaches, her services continue to be in high demand, especially at various corporate functions and fun children’s parties.

Five years ago, Morris founded Bellissima Balloons, a festive balloon décor service which provides balloon décor for weddings, children’s parties and other festive events.

The entrepreneur has taken her artistic skills up a notch with the launch of Bellissima TnT Ltd, in which she has extended her services to include body graphics, temporary tattoos, face painting, bouncy castle rentals and other party accessories and events management.

Morris, who recently hosted the launch of Bellissima TnT Ltd in collaboration with N9 Studio, said her services are in demand. Her unique interior balloon décor was recently showcased at Aria lounge and nightclub on Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook.

“We continue to do the balloon décor for various events, but over the years we have gotten requests from clients to provide a one-stop shop. In 2013 we vigorously pursued courses in body art, edible arrangements and face painting. Bellissima TnT now has a team of experts in order to enhance the client experience. Our Carnival Beauty and Body Art Exhibition was a success; we showcased Carnival body art, make-up more. Our aim is to develop a holistic product that put smiles on faces of all ages from children’s parties to weddings and other fun events.”

Morris said body art is in demand.

Her services also offer a unique experience in which companies can have their logo uniquely designed and applied in the form of temporary tattoos which Morris described as a very unique way to entertain and promote companies, groups, and individuals.

“Body art has grown increasingly popular and can be used for literally any occasion; going to a party, bachelorette parties. Corporate clients can also have their logo customised into a stencil to showcase their brand in a unique way. Your company logo or theme for your upcoming event, show or promotion for those not wanting to be permanently inked. Body art is a great alternative and it’s painless. Nothing attracts attention more than a body painted model.  This type of promotion is very unique,” Morris said.

Morris is pleased with the growth of her small establishment.

Over the years, she has facilitated workshops and training programmes with an aim to give unemployed people across the country an opportunity to become entrepreneurs through various workshops in Balloon Art and Decoration.

Morris is also involved in philanthropy.

Her most recent philanthropy drive was participating in “Balloons of Cheer” alongside former Miss Universe Wendy Fitzwilliam at Mt Hope Maternity Hospital and at the Wendy Fitzwilliam Paediatric Ward.
