I had the opportunity of working for Mr. Hafeez Karamath...at his office in San Juan...in 1997-1998.
He was a natural born-leader, and a decent boss. He never stopped giving, helping and sharing to the poor and needy.
Our Christmas Dinner for all employees that year took place at "Crowne Plaza" what was formerly known as "The Holiday Inn"
My sincerest condolences to his son and daughter and other family members. |
What people think they know

People speculate and think they know a person based on what they hear and what they may read about in the media. But businessmen and especially contractors, have to deal with alot of variables outside their control. I totally agree with Mr. Ali, how businessmen run their business and how they live their personal lives are at times very different. I knew Mr. Karamath, albeit not on a personal level, but I think the country lost a good soul. My condolences to the family and friends of the late Hafeez Karamath. |

My Condolences to the family. Is the government going to drop all charges now that he is dead? or are they going to continue and levy against his estate. He may have beaning doing good else where but he did wrong here and must be held accountable. |

I worked for Mr. Karamath in the San Juan office around 1997. I am deeply saddened by the news. He was a good man and a good boss. He always meant well. My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace.
