First there were three of them (Warner/Ramesh/Peters) now six? Bas will most likely take the new ones before the disciplinary committee for trying to make peace. How much will it take to get Mr. Panday to realize that his style of leadership is outdated? Mr. Panday, you are educated enough to know what stupidity is all about, what it can do and what it has done. These M.P.s acted on their own accord, not taking orders from you, as they should, and made their pitch to Mr. Warner on behalf of the people who voted them into office, and with the hope that changes would be made to improve the party in whatever way necessary. You served your country and people well, and are intelligent enough to know what steps you must now take. It is in your hands and your hands alone. Take the straight and narrow road - you would be proud of yourself, eventually, and serve the interest of the people of this nation. When the game is over, we all go home. |

It's amazing, instead of Mr Panday being greatful to his colleagues he is in essence calling them stupid due to their actions. What is wrong with this man, is he ever wrong? I believe Mr Warner's intention was one of 'grand charge' and he was never going to sue Panday....maybe he should have done so and only then Mr Silver Fox would learn some valuable lessons. |

Yes, Basdeo, your three lieutenants (Tim Gopeesingh, Chandradesh Sharma and Faizal Karim) did do a stupid thing to beg Jack Warner to drop the lawsuit against you.
You, as a lawyer, knew you could have won the matter and therefore the unsolicited pleadings of the three jefes made it look like you covertly asked them to beg Warner to back off.
Everyone know that Jack is a loud mouth and was only making noises when he knew very well that he couldn't proceed with the matter.
You, Basdeo Panday, still hold the upperhand. |

Mr Panday, this is no way to be the opposition of any country. Mr Panday should step aside and let someone else take his place. All the infighting in the UNC will only lead to the PNM winning the next election and more suffering. Because the PM only thinking OIL. No other alternative form of revenue.
