Man shot dead after argument

A FATHER who went to visit his son and former girlfriend was murdered at Diego Martin on Saturday night.

Residents said Albion Murray, a 48-year-old mason, went to the Roxborough Extension, Diego Martin home of his former girlfriend and the mother of his child to see his son.

Murray allegedly got into an argument with another man while he was at the house.

Murray, who lived alone at Brathwaite Street, Belmont, reportedly left after the dispute but returned later to spend time with his son and relatives who lived in the area.

Around 10.30 p.m. a gunman approached and opened fire on Murray.

Residents said they heard a volley of shots.

Murray died at the scene.

Relatives told the Express that Murray was a hardworking man who enjoyed a good lime.

In a unrelated incident the bullet riddled body of Marvin Lynch was found on Fourth Street, Beetham Gardens just after 1 p.m. yesterday.

Officers said they were yet to establish a motive for the shooting.

The two deaths pushed the murder toll to 352 for the year so far.

Officers from the Port of Spain Homicide Division are continuing investigations into both incidents.

MAM HOT DEAD AFTER ARGUMENT Posted: 2009-08-30 5:49:00 PM
Young men please stop killing each other over simple issues. If you must get into it, what happen to a good round of cuff and kicks. People use to get their lips busted and a scrape or two, which they laughed at after they cooled down. When you kill someone, you are not only destroying one life. Mothers, fathers, children, friends, brothers, sisters and many others are left in pain. May God bless everyone in Trinidad & Tobago. Trini in New York.
