A schoolteacher was electrocuted while painting his home at La Fortune, Woodland, on Monday evening.
Roopnarine Birju, 54, was found clinging to scaffolding at the side of the house.
He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, but died before he reached there.
Investigators believe Birju lost his balance and grabbed on to some overhead electrical wires. The incident happened around 5.45 pm. San Fernando police are continuing investigations.
