Present Blackberry matter in Court..wasting Tax Payers money as usual...

I am quite sure if the bandit that stole the Blackberry, was already found guilty, sentenced to hang, and the sentence was already carried out, Master Hosein would be alive today. These are desperate times and desperate measures should have been implemented sine yester year. Till that commitment is in the makings we will see these things keep on taking place again and again and again. The bandit in custody already knows that after his Court proceedings, he might be sentenced to death. Five years later they will have an inquiry board that will sit around a table, drink coffee, talk about cricket, carnival, or about the latest feet, then eventually the topic of hanging the murderer will come up. They will decide against caring out the sentence, and eventually a few years later this animal will roam the "Jungle" again. Three square meals, medical and dental taken care of all paid by tax payers to include the parents of the deceased. The dead has no representation in this country, no one speaks for them, and so the vicious cycle will continue till a change of leadership has taken place and no nonsense approach initiated to remedy this shamefulness that has already blown into an epidemic. The cry in this country that the state is doing nothing about crime will continue as long as God's Law is not adhered to. Too many of us believe that the harshness of life for life is not the way to solve the problem of murders, but God, who created man, stipulated the punishment for the shedding of blood. He said in Deuteronomy that the land cannot be cleansed from the pollution of blood except by the blood of him that shed it. He also said that the law is for the lawless and disobedient. When a man kills another deliberately his life should end for the life he took. I have seen killers who have no one to kill when the urge to shed blood becomes too much, they are like dogs that eat sheep, restless. They do push ups, take cold showers, eat excessive amounts of food, or enough liquor to dull their senses. This is what our country has become, a country of blood hounds where men creat situations just to kill. Until the state reinstates executions this land will not be cleansed from the polution of blood. As long as murderers are given light sentences and are allowed to walk free without being properly reformed this land will not be cleansed from the polution of blood. Until the Government imports lethal injections, electric chairs and repairs the hangman noose and begins public execution of criminals, this country will not be cleansed from the polution of blood.
As long as Mr. Patrick Manning remains Prime Minister with a record of involvement(meeting) with gangleaders and allegations of affiliation with Yasim Abu Bakr and the diabolical agenda of making himself President for life (a deadly combination) this land will not be cleansed from the polution of blood. MOST IMPORTANTLY, except the law of God is applied where death should be the consequence for murder, this land will not be cleansed from the pollution of blood. Deny it and we're all dead. |

Again another is murdered for their cellphone. The question is still outstanding,does TSTT and Digicell have the technology to kill stolen phones making this crime redundant, or are they more interested in the replacement sales of units and sim cards?

Would someone please explain why we aren't hanging murderers any more? To murder someone for his cellphone is irreconcilable and demands that there be justice for the victim and his family. Justice, being no less than a life for a life for all murders. Please, please, I said, please reinstate hanging and do it yesterday.
I hope they find the person who did this. |

When you can get killed over a Cell Phone then things real bad, yes we Gone clear. The killer have no respect for the law because most feel they will win their cases or can win on a technical basis. The law Lords in the UK (England) do not live or even under our society yet the decide what is cruel and inhumane, well I say reintroduce the Death Penalty and start back hanging, and if the Privy Counsel believe in human rights, then sent the killers to their homes to live free. |

What sort of madness is really taking place in this country? how bad has it really gotten that one could take another's life over something that did not belong to this so called bandit who really seems to be a COWARD! I HOPE THESE PEOPLE REALISE THERE IS A MAN BADDER THAN ALL OF THEM AND WHEN HE STARTS TO POUR OUT HIS WRATH WE SHALL SEE WHO IS BAD THEN...as to the mother of this child my heart goes out to you. Trust in god that your son is at peace now. Trinidad is the new Afghanistan,( a war is going on and the recommendations of the Prime Minister and the President should be the death sentence to any one found guilty with 3 months of trial and maybe that might be a deterrent to criminals to stop the killing off of our youths |

Killed over a cellphone, T&T murder total reaches 409. At this rate, as i predicted earlier this year there will be 545 murders in Trinidad most of which will be unsolved due to apathy by the police and the failure of witnesses to come forward for fear of losing their lives. I continue to hope that I am wrong on my prediction but it is unlikely as these wanton bandits continue to roam the streets. As i said in other posts when is Trinidad going to start using the "rope" and the "cat of nine tails", it is time to bring fear into these criminal lives.

truly a sad story. My house was broken into one week ago. They didn;t get much but i am unable to sleep since then. The worthless bandits came into the house while my son and I slept and left the door to my apartment open. Imagine the terror of waking up and seeing that. And don't talk about the police! Waste of time reporting the crime. They did ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING. No search, no questioning, nothing! What am I to do but live in constant fear that it may happen again! Now my work is suffereing, my child is terrified and I refuse to leave the house after six nor can I sleep until 6am....then head to work for 8am. |

Why do people continue to risk their lives for material items. Don't get me wrong I don't condone someone robbing you of what is rightly yours. As a matter of fact a person who steals should be jailed and have both hands chopped off just like they do in the Arab countries. But isn't your life worth more than a cell phone or anything for that matter. When your dead can you use that cell phone??? Leave thieves in the hands of God trust me their time will come! |

Geez, how third world can we be.
This young man lost his life because he had a phone - no doubt a phone to call for help should be ever be attacked. This is very sad. But this is how Trinidad is now. Whatever you work hard for somebody who no nothing about hard works feels it belongs to them. If fact to protect ourselves we now have to dress in rags and live in poverty. You all should pay the property tax because by the time you done there is no money for anything and you will not attract any bandits attention. This must be the new way to curb crime - the PNM way. |

The real question is what is WRONG with the MINDS of T&T youth? What has happened to these criminals in T&T that they are willing to KILL, instead of trying to make something of themselves, and try to STUDY to get a job, or make a career. |
