Rowley calls for details into Hart's salary...

Diego Martin West MP Dr Keith Rowley is asking the Minister of Finance to say what is the total compensation package of Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago executive chairman Calder Hart.

In a question which was filed on Monday on the Order Paper, Rowley is asking the minister to say what is the total monthly package attached to the position of executive chairman/ chairman of UDeCOTT; Home Mortgage Bank; Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Finance Company; National Insurance Board and National Insurance Property Development Company. Hart holds all these positions on these Government and quasi-Government enterprises.

In addition, Rowley wants to know the other financial beneficial considerations attached to these positions, including housing, transport, overseas travel, entertainment and medical allowances/facilities and whether there is any provision for any bonus payment relevant to these positions and the basis for such payments as they exist in any of these agencies or companies.

If so, he wants to know the actual sums of any bonus paid to the holder of these offices in these companies for each year from 2006 to present.

Rowley also wants to know, with respect to UDeCOTT, when was the post of executive chairman first introduced, whether the contract of the incumbent in this position was recently renewed, the date of the last renewal of the incumbent, and an indication of the change in the terms and conditions of the current contract compared with the previous holder.

Mr Manning your actions are firghtening Posted: 2009-10-07 03:13:00 AM
We are really making joke, how could this outsider hold all these top positions for companies owned by each citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and there is no accountability from Patrick on this. We must wake up Patrick by organising massive demonstrations and protests, against such unusual appointments, remember we brought down the other party because of corruption.
I and so would others I believe, would like to know. Posted: 2009-10-07 03:16:00 AM
Let it be known. Is T&T too small for transparency, Mr Manning?
Severance Provisions Posted: 2009-10-07 08:07:00 AM
While on the compensation package it would be quite interesting to find out what are the severance provisions! Yes, Mr. Rowley, please enquire about this also.

Mr. Manning's PNM government would probably love to "show you the money", but the problem is, when it comes to Calder Hart's total compensation, there is probably not enough decimal places in the world of math, to provide such a figure
